Conduit Fill Calculator

This calculator will estimate conduit fill based on conduit type, conduit size, wire type, wire size, and wire quantity. All calculations assume the circuit is operating under normal conditions, at room temperature, and at standard power frequency.

Helpful Notes:

The NEC allows 53% fill for one wire, 31% fill for two wires, and 40% fill for three or more wires.

If the NEC Recommendation shows "NO", try a larger conduit size or reduce the number of wires until the box changes to "YES".
